Description of the house

Casa Campina is a very charming house in a rural location, some 10 minutes from the nice town of Tavira and a 15 minute drive from the beautiful beaches of this peaceful region in the Algarve.
The entire house was restored recently (in 2011) and furnished in quite a contemporary style. The owner has created a friendly ambience by his good taste and choice of top quality furniture and decoration.
The house is well isolated and has air conditioning, realising an optimal living climate.

Surroundings of Casa Campina

From the house Tavira is accessible in a 10 minute drive. The kilometres long beaches of the Eastern Algarve are accessible in up to 20 minutes by car. In its vicinity are also great golf courses.
Tavira is perhaps the most beautiful town of the Algarve. Situated at the banks of the Rio Gilão, Tavira has an appealing ambience. It’s lovely to saunter through the centre with the ancient Moorish Quarter, squares and parks, terraces, cafés and many restaurants. Gorgeous patrician houses from the Renaissance reflect themselves in the Rio Gilão. Cubic houses with characteristic rooftops refer to eastern influences.
Olhão, Cacela Velha, Vila Real and other authentic villages are all within a 30 minute drive.
Those who want to cross the Spanish border, will drive into the capital city of Andalusia, Sevilla, in 1.5 hours.
The landscapes are of unparalleled beauty. You’d imagine yourself back in ancient times. A rocky landscape, olive, almond and orange trees, a shepherd crossing your path…

Ground floor: Contemporary, fully equipped open kitchen. Loune with wood burning stove. A terrace with table and chairs in front of the house and accessible from the living room through a sliding door. Bathroom with shower facility, washbasin and toilet.
First floor: One bedroom with small balcony with table and chairs. Small bathroom with toilet and washbasin.
About 20 meters past the house is a garden with a wonderful terrace with loungers, a dining table and outdoor shower fixture; a lovely place to relax.

Comments

• Air conditioning in living room and bedroom.  
• Upon arrival a damage deposit of €200 is due. This amount will be returned to you on the day of departure provided that the house and its contents are left in good order.
• You’re requested not to smoke in the house.
• The house will be cleaned twice a week.
• Arrival and departure dates are possible on any day of the week.
