Description of the house

Casa da Palmeira, or: House with the Palm tree. The owner of this house is an enthusiastic collector of tropical and subtropical plants, shrubs and trees. The Casa has a landscaped garden covering 5,000 m2 and a 3,000 m2 garden. The fruit of the season are there for the picking and consumption by the guests!
Everywhere in the fantastic lush garden are terraces with seats to relax in the shade of ancient trees. Around the swimming pool it’s wonderful to sunbathe. The pool is heated and can be covered, which will keep the water temperature between 18 en 20 degrees even in January.
In summer, the middle part of the cover can also serve as a ‘parasol’ to protect against very bright sunshine.
The wonderfully restored and extended farmhouse is a nice blend mix of warm, friendly, intimate, beautiful and light. The conservatory at the front of the house and the ‘panorama’ bedroom above it are just great. The view is absolutely breath taking. You can see the entire coastline from Albufeira all the way to Faro.
With its under-floor heating the Casa also offers comfortable accommodation in winter.

Surroundings of Casa da Palmeira

Its central location is special and peaceful. Almancil and the resorts of Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and the fantastic beaches are at a distance of a few kilometres only.

Floor plan

Ground floor: Living room. Luxurious country kitchen with all fixtures. Access to large conservatory with dining table and chairs. Two bedrooms with 2 twin beds each. One bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet and one bathroom with bathtub, double washbasin, toilet and bidet. One bedroom is a large split-level room with child’s cot and an extra sofa bed for 2.
First floor: ‘Panorama’ bedroom with balcony and a double bed. Bathroom en-suite with shower, washbasin and toilet.
At the pool  is an extra room with bathroom (shower, washbasin and toilet).

• There’s a cleaning service 3x per week
• The 11x4,5m swimming pool is heated and can easily be covered!
• The furnishing of the house is anti-allergic and therefore suitable for CARA-patients.
• The entire plot is fenced
• Upon arrival a damage deposit of €300 is due
• Off season the rent for 3 weeks will be at the price for 2 weeks.
